Washing machine with a liquid-recovery tank and a transfer conduit which connects, via a first pump arranged in said conduit, the lower part of the washing vessel with the tank. The lower part of the tank is connected by means of a conduit and a second pump to a hydraulic circuit which supplies the container with washing substances. The machine has one or more of the following properties: - the pump for supplying the hydraulic distributor and the pump for supplying the condenser are replaced by a single pump and a two-way deflecting valve which alternately supplies the hydraulic distributor or the condenser; - the drainage pump and the transfer pump are replaced by a single pump followed by another two-way deflecting valve which alternately supplies the transfer or drainage system.
