PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reproduce as an AL-SDU on a reception side by storing a packet marker PM of connection information on each divided adaptation layer pay load field AL-SDU in an extension field provided in an AL protocol data unit PDU and retransmitting the AL-SDU and the PM in pairs at the time of retransmission. SOLUTION: An AL3-SDU that encodes a video signal by a multiplex circuit is converted into an AL3-PDU by an adaptation layer and is incorporated into a multiplex MUX-PDU. At this time, a PM for dividing the AL3-SDU into plural numbers, adding an extension field and a CRC field to each and indicating connection information of a header in the extension field and the PM for indicating the final header. On a reception side, when discontinuation is detected in the PM of the connection information, it is taken that an error occurs and a retransmission request is performed. When there is no error and the PM for indicating the MUL-SDU is detected, it is confirmed that the frame is received without error. |
