PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the impregnation of an alkoxysilane compound into a vulcanized rubber and obtain a rubber product reinforced in a high strength by allowing the existence of an organic solvent having a solubility parameter value difference from that of the vulcanized rubber within a specific range. SOLUTION: This method for producing a rubber product reinforced with silica particles comprises allowing (B) a vulcanized rubber to contain (C) an alkoxy silane compound of the formula (R<1> -R<4> are each a monovalent organic group, wherein at least one of R<1> -R<4> is an alkoxy) in the presence of (A) an organic solvent having a solubility parameter value difference of±0.5 from that of the vulcanized rubber, and subsequently producing the silica particles from the component C by a sol-gel method. The component C and the component A are preferably used in a C/A volume ratio of 80/20 to 10/90. Since a large amount of the silica particles can be included in the vulcanized rubber, the rubber product reinforced in a high strength can be provided.
