PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an electroconductive film comprising metal fine particles which is suitable for cathode-ray tubes or the like inhibits the generation of non-uniformity on the film which influences the product quality, has a low surface resistivity of 1×10<3> ohm/square or lower and has a total visible light transmission of 60% or larger. SOLUTION: A composition free of binders, which comprises a dispersion wherein from 0.20 to 0.50 wt.% metal fine particle having a primary particle size of 20 nm or smaller is dispersed, wherein a disperse medium comprises from 0.0020 to 0.080 wt.% fluorine-containing surfactant and/or a total of from 0.10 to 3.0 wt.% of polyhydric alcohol, polyalkylene glycol and its monoalkyl ether derivative, is applied to the substrate and dried to form a film of metal fine particles. On this film, a siliceous upper layer film is formed and, preferably, a siliceous layer with fine unevenness is further formed through a spray method to give a low reflecting property and an antiglaring property to the film.
