Component-sealing system

The system has a seal (2) which bears against the component (1), whose working surface is plastically distorted to form a microstructure, using an eroded tool. This structure can be non-directional and formed by rolling. A shaft can form the component, or it can consist of a bush turning with the shaft and against which the seal works. The tool can be eroded to form a negative of the surface structure.
