PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a pixel sheet having black matrices of a high optical density and having the black matrices with which unequal densities are hardly observable in respective pixels. SOLUTION: This process for production consists in obtaining the pixel sheet 10 by forming the pixels on the surface of a light transmissible base 11 by a transfer method or coating application method. A photosensitive transfer sheet provided with an alkaline-soluble thermoplastic resin layer 15, a photosensitive resin layer 16 and a black resin layer 17 in this order on a tentative base 14 is superposed on the pixel surface and thereafter, the tentative base 14 is peeled to form the black resin layer 17, the photosensitive resin layer 16 and the thermoplastic layer 15 in this order on the pixel surface. After the photosensitive resin layer 16 is exposed imagewise, the thermoplastic resin layer 15, the photosensitive resin layer 16 of the unexposed region and the black resin layer 17 thereunder are removed. The black matrices 17B consisting of the black resin layer 17 are formed by removing the cured photosensitive resin layer 16. The pixel sheet having the black matrices 17B forming the pixels by the transfer method is produced after the formation of the black matrices 17B in the manner described above. |
