PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit handy assembly of segments by providing two components that can be male-female connected with each other due to the shape and binding of a knuckle joint that allows positioning of two components while rocking in a vertical face or extended portion corresponding to the assembly and tension of a plurality of segments of an arched member or in response to the bending position of the segments. SOLUTION: A connecting device 3 for an arched member can position and connect two components 4, 5 in a vertical face or an extended portion containing two components and corresponding to the assembly and tension of segments. The first component 4 has a disk 4a in the center and a cylindrical portion 4b accepting an upper segment on one side. It has also a long arm 4c in the center face on the opposite side, two claws 4d are arranged on a free end 4c1 and separate claws 4e of the lower portion of the arm has a function of securing a chain lock to the second component 5. Therefore, segments can be extended easily and quickly and assembled handily. |
