The plastic part (1) with a thin wall (3) is fixed by sliding on a support (2). In the wall is an elongated opening (4) with two parallel longitudinal edges (5). The fixing comprises a brace (10) of greater thickness than the thin wall and able to slide inside the opening. A screw and nut (16,2a) secure the brace to the support. The plastics part comprises near its opening, pre-positioning rods (7,8) for the strut in the opening. These rods are breakable so as to release the strut from the opening once the strut has been secured to the support.
