Connector boards with toothed regions are press-fitted into reciprocally toothed regions of vertical supports fixed to the wall, forming a box frame. The wall comprises a flat box frame which is fixed to a vertical wall in the building, the frame containing compartments for receiving fittings. Cladding is secured to the front of the frame to conceal the fittings, where required. The box frame comprises two parallel vertical supports (1) which are fixed to the wall, each of which has a toothed section (6), into which reciprocally toothed sections in connector boards (2,3) are fitted so that they extend between the supports.
