Compounds are synthesized by asymmetric hydrogenation of compound of the formula (II) <EMI ID=0.549 HE=21 WI=24 TI=CHI> where R<SP>1</SP>,R<SP>2</SP>,R have values indicated above. Compounds are subjected for asymmetric hydrogenation in the presence of a complex of optically active, preferably atropoisomeric diphosphine ligand, with metal of group VIII.
