PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the operation efficiency of the whole of a power outputting apparatus by providing a cooling means for cooling the hot part of the power outputting apparatus and operating this cooling means, using at least a part of a regenerative power obtained by converting the rotating power of a drive shaft by a motor. SOLUTION: Separately from a cooling system for an engine 150, cooling systems for motors MG1, MG2 and drive circuits 191, 192 are composed of water jackets 258, 259, a heat sink 256, a water pump 261, a radiator 251, a cooling fan 253, and so forth. And when the residual capacity of a battery 194 is a specified value or less, priority is given to its charging, to make effective use of a regenerative power, but when the residual capacity is larger than the specified value, the cooling fan 253 is operated. Besides, if the temperatures of the motors MG1, MG2 and the drive circuits 191, 192 are a specified value or lower, here, the motors MG1, MG2 are rotated with an engine 150 as a load using the regenerative power. |
