摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a suspension with high reliability against vibration fatigue and with excellent linearity in an external force versus displacement characteristic by configuring the suspension with a thin plate where a width of its middle part is narrower than that of both supporting ends. SOLUTION: In the case that a side (a) is fixed and a force is applied perpendicularly to a side a', the suspension 1 is deformed in a direction of the force as the force is increased. The suspension 1 is a made of a thin plate with a shape where the width of its middle part is narrower than that of both ends. Thus, the middle part is easily deformed more than the both ends of the suspension 1, and a stress caused when the suspension 1 is deformed is dispersed toward the middle from the both ends of the suspension 1. Thus, the stress produced at the both ends of the suspension 1 is decreased ore than that of a suspension with a uniform width. Furthermore, since the mean width of the suspension 1 is smaller than the width of a suspension with a uniform width, the linearity in a force versus displacement characteristic of the suspension 1 is improved more than that of a suspension with a uniform width.
