PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the unstable fluctuations of an interval during the course of a music and the give up of singing mid-way by judging whether the upper and lower limit of the compass of the playing music exceed the male and female assignment compasses or not and adjusting the upper and lower limit of the compass of the playing music, so as to enter the inside of the male and female assignment compasses at the time of judging that the limits exceed the assignment compasses, thereby completing transposition before starting text. SOLUTION: This automatic transposition apparatus for a KARAOKE sing-along machine comprises a memory section 2, a voice section 3, a video section 4 and an operating section 5 around an arithmetic section 1. The arithmetic section 1 executes the definition of the assignment compass. The definition of the assignment compass refers to the definition of the compass to be assigned as a male music or female music for every music or every shop. When the playing music of a request is defined, whether the compass of the playing music is the male music or female music is detected. When, for example, the playing music is discriminated to be a male music, whether the upper and lower limits of the compass of the playing music exceed the male assignment compass or not is discriminated. When these limits are discriminated to exceed the compass, the upper and lower limits of the compass of the playing music are raised or lowered to the male assignment compass. |
