<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease abrasion to be generated with the rotation of a slipper as well as to prevent compressibility of oil in a hollow space so provided as to reduce the weight of a plunger from affecting the volumetric efficiency. SOLUTION: A plunger assembly is constituted of a slipper 55 provided with a convex spherical outer peripheral surface and a concave spherical inner peripheral surface and formed into an bowl shape, a hollow and cylindrical plunger main body 51 in which a spherical concave surface 51b to be slid on and fitted to the convex spherical outer surface is formed, and a connecting member 60 for connecting the plunger main body 51 and the slipper 55 to each other. The connecting member 60 is constituted of a head member 65 to be slid on and fitted to the concave spherical inner peripheral surface of the slipper, and a rod member 61 inserted through the plunger main body 51, the slipper 55 and the head member 65, and the rod member 61 is provided with a cover part 61a to be welded and joined to the opening of the plunger main body 51 so as to cover it on one end, and a caulking part 61b perforating the head member 65 and to be caulked to the head member on the other end.</p> |
