<p>The invention concerns a method for making a continuous yarn wherein a multiplicity of continuous filaments (12) are formed by mechanical drawing from a multiplicity of threads of molten plastics material(s) flowing from the orifices of at least one device (13) which consists in depositing at the surface of at least part of the filaments (12) a mixture in liquid state, before gathering them into at least one yarn, said method comprising the following successive steps: soaking continuously a mat of fibres mechanically held together (10) with the mixture in liquid state; taking continuously at least part of said mixture by means of a rotating roller (11) in contact with said mat (10); and depositing on the filaments (12) being drawn said mixture from a sizing roller (11). The invention also concerns a yarn obtained by said method.</p> |
