<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger electric vehicle capable of efficiently running even on a severly eneven ground surface. SOLUTION: A driving unit D has an axle case 38a to support right and left rear wheels Wr, a differential case 37 integrally joined thereto to store a differential gear 36 therein, an electric motor 1 to integrally join a stator 42 to the differential case 37 and an automatic transmission 46 to connect the output shaft of the electric motor 1 to the input shaft of the differential gear 36. The driving unit D is supported by a rear swing arm 59 suspended on a body frame F in an up-and-down oscillatable manner. In this way, the electric motor 1 is operated in a highly efficient area, regardless of load variation, and the reduction of an occupant interior on the body frame due to the driving unit D is prevented.</p> |
