PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify data transfer between a portable telephone set and a notebook-sized personal computer. SOLUTION: In this method, a portable telephone set 2 obtains information (tag) necessary for using a data communication path from a communication network 1 through a line control path 5 by using the identifier, and the telephone set 2 sets a data communication path 6 between its own device and the communication network 1 based on the tag. Moreover, the telephone set 2 transmits the tag through a line control path 9 to a notebook-sized personal computer 3 for controlling the line setting function of the personal computer 3, and the personal computer 3 sets the same data communication path 6. Thus, data can be directly transmitted from the personal computer 3 through this path 6 to the communication network 1. |
