PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion-type fluorescent lamp socket with which the cost for molding synthetic resin components of the socket, and the cost for managing the components, can be reduced. SOLUTION: This fluorescent lamp socket comprises a pair of elastically deformable contact fittings 13, and a synthetic resin rotator 14 which is rotatably held between these contact hardwares 13, in a synthetic resin socket body 11, and a rear face opening of the body 11 is closed by a synthetic resin socket cover 12. The rotator 13 before being assembled, is molded integrally with the body 11 through plural minute parts to be cut 45 between the rotator and the body 11. This rotator 14 is separated from the body 11 by cutting the parts to be cut 45 and is assembled in a specific storing position in the body 11, and the cost is reduced by the integral molding of the synthetic resin body 11 and the rotator 14. |
