The invention concerns a safety support comprising a plate with ribs (20) and a U-shaped upper part (22) with two lateral branches (24, 26) and an upper base zone (28). The two lateral branches (24, 26) comprise each an articulation zone (30) including pivoting axles extending parallel to the plane covered by the upper part (22) and two superposed connecting zones (32), which are mutually linked by an assembling part, each having a bore (38) for its respective pivoting axle. Moreover, each articulation zone (30) comprises at least three pivoting axles, the connecting zones (32) have each an arcshaped part, defined by two flattened zones (34) extending parallel to said plane, and the two neighbouring articulation pins (40) are each mutually linked by two assembly parts (42).
