MECHANIC ENGINEERING - The e.g. nuts (13) are introduced into the operational zone (8) of a spark discharge energy transducer (30), where electrodes (31, 32) produce high powered mechanical impulses (12) in the working medium (35). These impulses are transferred directly to the nuts, through the membrane (34). They are split into husks and kernels. Separation is completed by air classification. Finally, oil is pressed from the kernels. An Independent claim is included for the corresponding plant.
