<p>A method of producing a tube roll, and a tube roll arrangement for paper machines. In the method the end of the mantle (1) of the tube roll comprises a cylindrical even inner surface, and the periphery of end portion (2) a cylindrical fixing surface, the surfaces (3, 6) being dimensioned so that the end portion (2) can be inserted into the end of the mantle (1). In order to lock the end portion (2) in the mantle (1), fixative (8) is provided between their surfaces (3, 6). In the tube roll arrangement, the cylindrical inner surface (3) of the mantle (1) and the cylindrical fixing surface (6) on the periphery of the end portion (2) are dimensioned so that they can be inserted in contact into each other. Furthermore, the tube roll arrangement comprises fixative between the surfaces (3, 6) of the end portion (2) and the mantle (1).</p> |
