PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve delivery efficiency for an entire video image delivery device by allowing a client only to have to select a video image title to view a video server with a light load in the video image delivery device in which duplicates of video images are stored in a plurality of video servers. SOLUTION: A load distribution control means 120 is provided in a video management device 4. The load distribution control means 120 receives a delivery end notice 103, a video server start notice 104, a video server end notice 105, and video registration information 106 sent from a reception means 100 to manage the storage state of a duplicate of video image and a load of the video server. Upon the receipt of the delivery request 102 of the video title from a client, whether or not a desired video title has a duplicate is checked, and when any duplicate is available, the load of all video servers storing the desired video image is checked when the duplicate is available, and a proper video server is selected and a delivery request notice 121 is sent to the video server. |
