PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene-coated steel material having suitable processability and excellent corrosion resistance as a material for a bend tube, etc. SOLUTION: (1) In the polyethylene-coated steel material containing an adhesive resin layer and polylethylene corrosion resistant resin layer in a coating layer, adhesive resin for forming the adhesive resin layer is ethylene- methacrylate copolymer containing 1 to 20 mass % of methacrylic acid. (2) In the polyethylene-coated steel material containing a primer layer, adhesive resin layer and polyethylene corrosion resistant resin layer in a coating layer, a film thickness of the primer layer is 10 to 100μm, and adhesive resin for forming the adhesive resin layer is ethylene-methacrylate copolymer containing 1 to 20 mass % of methacrylic acid. |
