PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject silicone rubber tape having excellent handling performance and high reliability and electromagnetic compatibility by using a silicone rubber containing a specific amount of acetylene black having prescribed thickness and specific surface area. SOLUTION: A silicone polymer (e.g. a vinyl-containing polydimethylsiloxane having an average polymerization degree of about 6,000, containing 0.06 mol.% of methylvinylsiloxane unit and holding dimethylvinylsilyl groups on both terminals) is compounded with 35-60 wt.% of an acetylene black having a thickness of <=30Åin the C axis direction of the graphite crystallite and a specific surface area of <=60 mg/g in terms of iodine adsorption amount. The obtained silicone rubber compound is formed in the form of a sheet (tape) to obtain the objective silicone rubber tape.
