The invention refers to a device for retention of bovines for the purpose of zootechnical or veterinary procedures. The device consists of two lateral frames (1) fastened with bolts (2) and screws (3) to a lower slideway (4) and an upper slideway (5), on which two retention bars (6) glide, driven by an adjustment and blocking mechanism composed of rods (15) hanger sleeve (14), a right-hand thread screw (13), a left-hand screw (11 and 13), a left-right nut (12), a blocking lever (10), a dowel (9), a sleeve (8), head bolts (16) and a driving lever (7).
