The invention concerns a machine for planting stakes comprising stake drivers (8) integral with a horizontal beam (9) articulated on a first carriage (3), a body (1) whereon is mounted rolling the first carriage (5), a frame (2) whereon is mounted rolling a second carriage (5) along a direction transverse to the first carriage (3) displacement direction, said second carriage bearing a body (1) which is mounted pivoting on it along a horizontal plane, and a strut (14) capable of being actuated by at least one actuator on each side of the frame (2) and integral with a wheel (R) support (16) for lifting on one side or the other the frame (2) relative to the wheel (R) to enable the machine to modify its position on a sloping terrain. Said machine enables to plant stakes in vineyards along a perfectly vertical plane whatever the land topography.
