Combined service brake and spring store brake cylinder for utility vehicles

The combined cylinder has an intermediate piece between the service brake cylinder casing and the spring store cylinder casing, separating the compression chambers of the two cylinders from each other. There is an intermediate flange (17) which grips the intermediate piece (23) and is detachable from it. The intermediate flange connects the two cylinder casings (19,21) to each other. The intermediate flange may consist of two half-bowls with the division between them running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the combined cylinder.
