<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition enabling reconciliation of disperse stability and jetting characteristic and capable of being used for ink jet recording device by including a specific pigment and a fatty acid triglyceride at a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This composition is a hot-melt type ink composition for inkjet comprising (A) pigment exhibiting yellow, magenta, cyan or black and (B) >=10 wt.%, preferably >=40 wt.% fatty acid triglyceride (preferably comprising a monoacid group, especially stearic acid or preferably completely hydrogenated castor oil). Furthermore, the ink jet recording device jets ink droplets onto a recording medium and forms recording dots by liquefying an ink composition which is solid at a room temperature by heating and applying jet energy to liquefied ink composition. Thereby, it is made possible to perform reconciliation of disperse stability and jetting characteristics which become a problem when pigment is used as a coloring agent.</p> |
