The cutting tool comprises a sheet steel support core (1) having a number of abrasive diamond segments (2) which are fixed at intervals along its cutting edges. Dampers able to prevent the generation and propagation of acoustic vibrations are associated with it. The dampers comprise, in a central zone of the support core, a series of parallel incisions (3) which are arranged inclined w.r.t the cutting edge, the ends of each incision being located above the ends of the incisions adjacent to it, with respect to alignments perpendicular to the cutting edge. There are also filling segments (5) arranged between the diamond segments, the filling segments fixed to the bottom edge of the blades in a manner similar to the diamond segments, with the function of increasing the bearing contact area of the blades inside the cutting groove.
