PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material showing high contrast and high density and having excellent storage property of a yellow image and excellent resistance against pressure by incorporating a specified coupler and a specified silver halide emulsion into a blue-sensitive emulsion layer. SOLUTION: The blue-sensitive emulsion layer contains an acylamide-type yellow dye forming coupler having an acyl group expressed by the formula. At least one layer of blue-sensitive emulsion layers contains the silver halide emulsion described below. The silver halide emulsion contains silver halide particles having 10 or more dislocation lines per particle by >=50% of the whole particle number and at least one kind of metal atom of groups 7, 8 and 4 to 6 periods in the periodical table by 1×10<-10> to 1×10<-3> mol. per one mole of the silver halide. In the formula, R1 is a univalent group and Q represents a nonmetallic atom group necessary to form a 3 to 5-member hydrocarbon ring or 3 to 5-member heterocycle having at least one hetero atom selected from among N, S, O, P in the ring.
