PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with a specified speaker using a key telephone set or a single telephone set by providing a control part having a voice recognizing function and a voice telephone directory memory part in that telephone set. SOLUTION: At the time of voice dial registration, voice signals from a hand set 22 are converted to digital information and stored in a voice telephone directory memory part 28d. Next, when a dial is inputted, it is transmitted from an interface part 24 at a base unit to a control part 28a in a voice recognition control part 28 and stored in the voice telephone directory memory part 28d. Even when editing an already registered business name, the similar operation is performed. Thus, since the voice data and dial data of a user himself are stored, the specified speaker can be dealt with. When voices are inputted through the similar route at the time of voice dial call origination, the control part 28a extracts the business name similar to already registered data from the contents of the voice telephone directory memory part 28d and it is confirmed for the user by guidance the business name is right.
