PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a document without needing operator's skill by creating a document which appropriately layouts character information and image information and storing it. SOLUTION: A character information inputting means 1 inputs character information that is described on a document. An image information inputting means 2 inputs image information that is described on a document. The means, for instance, consists of inputting means such as an image scanner and a digital camera. A layout storing means 3 stores layouts of character information and image information. A layout selecting means 4 selects a layout to be used from character information that is inputted from the means 1. A document creating means 5 creates a document from character information inputted by the means 1, image information inputted by the means 2 and a layout selected by the means 4. A document storing means 6 stores a document created by the means 5. And a layout editing means 7 performs layout editing. |
