The invention relates to a drive system for a vehicle, especially a non-guided vehicle, comprising at least one internal combustion engine (1), at least one generator (2), at least one electric drive motor (10) and at least one torque converter (12), said torque converter being positioned between the drive motor (10) and an output shaft (14) leading to the vehicle axes. The inventive drive system is characterised in that the drive motor (10) is coupled with the converter (12) in order to increase the torque conveyed to the vehicle axes by said drive motor (10) via the output shaft (14). |
