<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To while simplify a structure of an outer tube of a Bowden cable in a cable type steering device, prevent deflection thereof, and enhance a rigidity sense at the handle operation time. SOLUTION: A Bowden cable 6 connecting a steering wheel and a steering gear box of a cable type steering device is constituted by an outer tube 6o fixed to a car body and an inner cable 6i stored freely slidable in the inside of the outer tube. A main body part of the outer tube 6o is formed by a metal pipe 31, its internal peripheral surface is coated with a synthetic resin-made liner 32 so that the inner cable 6i can be smoothly slid. Partly the metal pipe 31 is formed in a bellows shape, by providing a curvature part 31i, a free layout in an engine room can be obtained.</p> |
