PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sintered pavement material showing no defects, e.g., cracks, to effectively utilize a waste incineration product by sintering the stock comprising the waste incineration product in such a way to form a solid solution with a plagioclase phase as the binding texture during the sintering process. SOLUTION: This method sinters a shaped stock comprising a waste incineration product at a temperature level satisfying the following relationship, in order to form a solid solution with a plagioclase phase as the binding texture during the sintering process: sintering temperature being T-50 deg.C or above but T-10 deg.C or below, wherein T is liquid phase line temperature of the binding texture composition shown by the general formula aR2 O.bCaO.xAl2 O3 .ySiO2 [(a+b)=1] [T( deg.C)=1080-440(a)+(590(x)-60(y))/b, 0<(a)<=0.3,0.7<=(b)<1.0,0.3<=(x)<=1.0, 1.5<=(y)<=6.0 and 1.0<=(y/b)<=6.5]. |
