PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problem that the exposed portion of a mold is rapidly dried and thereby cracked due to the dryness in a method for casting ceramic powder with a thermal collapse type thermoplastic resin mold, because the mold is thermally melted and collapsed off in the atmosphere. SOLUTION: This method for casting ceramic powder comprises mixing the ceramic powder with water, a dispersant and a thermosetting resin as a binder, pouring the obtained slurry into a mold comprising a material not absorbing the water, and subsequently thermally curing the cast slurry. Therein, the mold comprises a thermoplastic resin melting at a higher temperature than the curing temperature of the slurry, and the mold is heated at a higher temperature than the melting point of the mold under a saturated steam pressure or in hot water. |
