The machine produces pre-prepared blanks, especially for hinged lid cigarette packets. Each stack of blanks (10), is aligned through the transmission of flat pressure on at least two opposite lying side faces of the stack. The alignment procedure is performed before delivery to the packing machine and especially before delivery to the stack conveyor (18), and with regard to the exact relative position of all the blanks. The stack, or several stacks, are aligned preferably on all four vertical side faces by alignment components (21-28). |
