Electric discharge chamber employing lightning discharge energy
摘要
In an electric discharge chamber for material structural transformation, (a) an external high current discharge (e.g. an atmospheric lightning discharge) is passed through the material within a pressure resistant chamber so that the material is evaporated, ionised and exposed to a high pulse pressure and optionally an additional static pressure; and (b) the material is subsequently transformed, during condensation preferably from the plasma phase to the solid state, with maximum yield into a crystalline structure preferably of greater density.
