<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any secondary copy to be formed and yet to obtain primary copies as images to be read as common documents by incorporating a crystalline polymer specified in densities in the crystalline and noncrystalline regions as a binder resin. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic translucent toner contains as the binder resin the crystalline polymer having a density of 0.8-3.2 g/cm<3> in the crystalline region and a density of 0.8-1.3 g/cm<3> in the noncrystalline region, and this crystalline polymer can be embodied by a low density polyethylene and the like. An image is formed by transferring an image developed with this translucent toner on a transparent film to form an image sheet and holding this sheet between an upper polarizing plae and a lower polarizing plate, and then, irradiating the lower polarizing plate with a visible light, as a result, an image can be read as a common document from the upper polarizing plate. It is preferred that this crystalline polymer has a double refractive indexΔn of 60×10<-3> -20×10<-2> and a melting point of 100-270 deg.C.</p> |
