PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability and make a structure simple. SOLUTION: An electric lamp 10 is provided with a case 11 which accommodates batteries 12A, (12B), 12C, and (12D), and an assembly which consists of an electric bulb 18 in a cylinder 14 installed in a round housing 62 of the case 11 and the connection circuit. The cylinder 14 rotates and moves in a prescribed limit between a first rest position which can gain access to a first partition chamber for attaching/detaching of the batteries 12A, (12B), 12C, and (12D), and a second operating position to turn on and off the electric lamp 10. Moreover, the cylinder 14 has an inclination part which allows a first supply contact and a second supply contact connect to each terminals of the polarity opposite to the batteries with the cooperation of the batteries 12A and 12C when the cylinder 14 is changed from the first rest position to the second operating position. An operating push button 52 which operates a switch can be positioned at a non-operating position corresponding to the state that the switch is shut when the second supply contact comes in contact with one of the terminal, and at an operating position enforcing the opening of the switch according to a distance between the terminal and the second supply contact. |
