<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner stably giving satisfactory images over a long period of time by incorporating a cyclic condensation product of at least 1-naphthol or its deriv. and formaldehyde or another aldehyde. SOLUTION: This toner contains a cyclic condensation product of at least 1-naphthol or its deriv. and formaldehyde or another aldehyde. By the cyclic structure of the cyclic condensation product A, the toner has improved electron absorbing property. Since the condensation product A has satisfactory heat stability and is less liable to degradation or degeneration even after melting and kneaded with a bonding resin, etc., the electrostatic chargeability of the toner is hardly varied. The amt. of the condensation product A is preferably 0.1-15 pts. mass based on 100 pts. mass bonding resin in the toner. The bonding resin is preferably polyester resin or styrene-acrylic resin.</p> |
