PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument capable of obtaining a feeling of spreading of sounds corresponding to touch without increasing the memory capacity. SOLUTION: The electronic musical instrument has a musical sound generating means 20 to generate musical sounds, a musical range and touch information detecting means 1 to detect musical range information and touch information, velocity curve storage means 21a, 21b to store an L-channel and R-channel waveform velocity curve in each of sound ranges and a velocity control means 22 to read velocity curve data out of the velocity curve storage means 21a, 21b in accordance with the sound range information and the touch information detected by the sound range and touch information detecting means 1, thereby performing velocity control of musical sounds generated by the musical sound generating means 20. |
