The invention relates to an injector valve for a internal combustion engine, comprising a tappet (27) for a valve member ( 22) and an electrically powered actuator (30) for said tappet (27). In order to expand assembly opportunities in a reduced amount of space, the invention provides for the following: the direction of tappet motion and the lift device (27) of the actuator (30) form an angle ranging from 0 to 180 DEG , and the tappet (27) and the actuator (30) are hydraulically coupled to each other. Preferably, a hydraulic travel transmitter (25, 31, 33) is arranged between the actuator (30) and the tappet (27). The inventive device can be used as a common rail injector for four-valve internal combustion engines.
