Folding bed

The bed is formed by boards or a frame covered with fabric and comprises a central section with two wings (2,3). The wings may be joined by hinges along the long sides of the central section. During storage the wings can be folded over the central section and the bed is then stored as a flat-pack in a vertical position. The bed legs are formed by handles which are provided to the central section and to the wings, when the wings are unfolded from the flat-pack to form a flat bed surface. A roller which is provided close to the bottom of the central section helps the flat-pack to be pulled along. In the flat-pack the wings press down on the mattress (8) and bedding (9) and are held in position by straps (7).
