PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically manufacture a core plate with segment made of a frictional material by forming and cutting the frictional material by means of die so as to form multiple segments in order, and supplying the segments on an outer peripheral part of the core plate, and sticking and fixing the segments. SOLUTION: After a core plate 42 to which a thin layer of phenolic adhesive is stuck beforehand is mounted on the plate home 18 of a dividing table 12, a top plate 14 of the table 12 is rotated in a direction 46, and the core plate 42 is positioned in the vicinity of the die part 24 of a segment arranging station 22. A frictional material is fed to the die part 24 by a pair of feed rolls 36 formed vertically, and trimming of the rim of the frictional material 34 is carried out by downward motion of the die part 24. The frictional material 34 after trimming is cut for a constant length on a downstream end of the die part 24 so as to form sector segments 54. The segments 54 are supplied to the outer peripheral part of the core plate 42 in order, and are stuck and fixed. |
