PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy supply device which is of small size, low price and easy to use. SOLUTION: Power in a power system is inputted from a power cable 1 to a main circuit breaker 4 through a wattmeter 2 and a contract circuit breaker 3. The output of the main circuit breaker 4 is connected to one input side 9a of a change-over device 9 and further input to an alternating-current-to-direct-current conversion circuit 7 through a phase detection circuit 6. Its direct-current output is inputted to a direct- current-to-alternating-current conversion circuit 8. The alternating-current outputted from the direct-current-to-alternating-current conversion circuit 8 is connected to the other 9b of the inputs of the change-over device 9. A non-utility generation equipment 11 generates and inputs direct-current power to the direct-current-to-alternating-current conversion circuit 8, and further supplies hot water using thermal energy which has not been converted into electric power. Based on a detection signal for the voltage phase of the power system from the phase detection circuit 6, a system controller 12 outputs to the direct-current-to-alternating-current conversion circuit 8 a timing signal for determining the phase of the alternating-current output. Further, the system controller 12 receives a detection signal for load power consumption from a load detector 10 and a condition input from an input device 13, and controls the change-over of the change-over device 9. |
