PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to immediately understand a present position where the operator is, a direction towards which he faces or the like even by using a notebook size personal computer and so on for a facility management by preparing stored map information and a display map so that the present position of the operator and the direction towards which he faces can be visually understood. SOLUTION: A global positioning system(GPS) is used as position detection device 101 to measure a position of portable device for collecting disaster information, that is, a position where an operator with the same device is, and outputs as information on latitude and longitude. As an azimuth detection device 102 is used a geomagnetism sensor. An operation processor 103 prepares on the basis of measurement results of the position detection device 101 and the direction detection device 102 map information stored in a storage deuce 104 and a display map that enables the present position of the operator and the direction towards which he faces to be visually understood. The operator uses an input device 106 and inputs information on objects for information collection such as buildings and roads on the display map while referring to the display map. |
