<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To multiplex plural video, sound and data signals, etc., and to record reproduce them with one recording medium by recording plural video signals in a recording block (laser) of one system after compressing/multiplexing them. SOLUTION: Non-compression based band digital signals are sent from cameras C1 and C2. Here, when the signals from the cameras C1 and C2 are analog signals, they are separately converted into digital signals through an A/D converter and inputted. The digital signals of two systems are inputted to digital compression blocks 11 and 12 and are separately compressed. Next, the compressed base band digital signals of two systems are converted into digital multiple signals in a memory/time division multiplex/record signal processing block 13, turned into an optical signal through an E/O conversion block 14 and recorded on an optical disk through a laser beam.</p> |
