PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a liquid constantly without causing malfunctions such as ink discharge failure and liquid leakage even if a sudden change occurs in environmental temperature, by structuring a container so as to change its cubic capacity due to the deformation of the shape and providing a tank that stores the liquid. SOLUTION: A liquid storing and supplying member 10 is comprised of a liquid tank 20 made in bellows form that can extend and shrink freely in the direction of a center axis and a supporting member 22 that functions as a cubic capacity correction member in relation to a change in environmental temperature. The supporting member 22 is connected mechanically to the liquid tank 20 in a fixed portion 24 formed integrally at one end of the liquid tank 20. And ink 29 stored in the tank 20 is supplied to an ink jet output mechanism 12 by the penetration of the bottom face of the tank 20 by a needle member 26 provided in the ink jet output mechanism 12. Here, a combination of the expansion coefficients of the ink 28, the main component of the tank 20 and the supporting member 22 can prevent the ink 28 from leaking due to temperature change. |
