The adsorption drier for gaseous media incorporates one or several parallel adsorption chambers (1, 2) which, in particular, is/are switchable between adsorption and regeneration modes of operation, and a blower (6). At a first stage of regeneration this blower delivers a heated gaseous medium under pressure to the chamber(s) under-going regeneration, while at a second stage of regeneration it delivers a cool gaseous medium under partial vacuum and in the opposite direction. The motor heat of the blower (6) is used for heating the gaseous medium delivered at the first stage to the adsorption chamber (1) undergoing regeneration.
